PUBG Squad Open FPP Games Tournament Rules

1. General Tournament Information

  • Format: The Squad Open Games tournament has a set duration during which players can play up to a given number of ranked games. This number is precised in the tournament format information. To participate, players just have to queue in squad ranked games during the tournament timeframe. The goal is to accumulate the most points during your tournament games. Not all squad members have to participate to the tournament.

  • Mode: In order to participate to this tournament, players MUST select the FPP (First Person Perspective mode) when queuing up for a game.

  • Timing: Each tournament has a countdown clock. When the clock reaches zero, the rankings are finalized, and the leaderboard is announced. Ongoing games at the end of the countdown are completed but do not affect the final standings.

2. Scoring System

The following actions earn you points during your games:

  • Final rank: 500 / rank points (rounded up)
  • Kill: 20 points per kill
  • Assist: 10 points per kill
  • Damage dealt: 1 point per 20 damage dealt (rounded up)

Example: a player placed 10th with 3 kills, 2 assists and dealt 450 damage overall. Their score is:

  • 500/10 = 50 points for their rank
  • 20*3 = 60 points for their kills
  • 10*2 = 20 points for their assists
  • 450/20 = 23 points for their overall damage dealt
  • TOTAL: 153 points for the game

3. Pairing and Match Procedures

Pairing are computed directly in the PUBG matchmaking interface. Players only have to queue up to squad ranked games to find their next game during the tournament.

4. Winning the Tournament

  • Determining the Winner: The player with the most points at the end of the tournament is declared the winner. If players have the same number of points, the tie-break is based on tournament performance metrics.

5. Conduct and Fair Play

  • Fair Play: All players must adhere to PUBG's fair play rules, which include prohibitions against cheating and use of external assistance. PUBG's fair play analysis tools are used to monitor and ensure the integrity of the tournament.

  • Disqualification: Players found cheating or violating fair play rules will be disqualified and banned from future tournaments. The tournament organizer's decisions are final in disputes.
